Overview
The
Business Lead (Quaker) is responsible for leading the growth and profitability of the Quaker business by driving strategic expansion, distributor excellence, and commercial execution across Indonesia. This role owns end-to-end business performance, including revenue, margin, trade investment, and portfolio optimization, while ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Regulatory, and Marketing. The incumbent is expected to identify new growth opportunities, strengthen route-to-market capabilities, and ensure operational excellence in import business management.
Responsibilities
What you will be responsible for:
- Own full responsibility for the Quaker imported portfolio, including revenue, margin, and trade investment performance.
- Develop and execute growth strategy for the imported business, identifying expansion opportunities across channels and regions.
- Lead distributor selection, governance, and performance management to ensure strong coverage, execution, and financial discipline.
- Oversee end-to-end import processes, including demand alignment, supply coordination, regulatory compliance, and customs requirements.
- Define pricing strategy, pack positioning, and trade terms in alignment with NRM and category priorities.
- Drive portfolio expansion initiatives, including SKU launches, assortment optimization, and channel penetration.
- Monitor business performance through regular reviews, forecasting alignment, and corrective action plans.
- Ensure working capital optimization, stock health management, and service level performance.
- Lead cross-functional coordination across Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and Marketing.
Qualifications
What you will need to have:
- 8–12 years of experience in FMCG commercial, distributor management, or business development roles.
- Experience managing imported products or working with global/regional supply structures preferred.
- Strong P&L ownership and financial acumen.
- Experience managing distributors and route-to-market models.
- Solid understanding of pricing, margin structures, and trade investment.
- Knowledge of import/export processes and regulatory requirements preferred.
- Strong strategic thinking and market expansion capability.
- Excellent stakeholder management across local and regional/global teams.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- High ownership mindset and ability to operate with autonomy.
