About the Company

We are a premium craft tile and stone manufacturer specializing in high-end, handcrafted products for residential and commercial interiors. Our clients include architects, designers, developers, and private buyers in the premium segment. We are expanding our team and are looking for a professional, presentable, and highly organized peoples to become part of our team.

Position Overview

The last line of quality control before shipping — catches firing/glaze defects, distinguishes them from natural characteristics of handmade work, and packs fragile stone/tile for international transport so the client receives goods that meet the Moonjar standard, with nothing broken in transit.

Key Responsibilities

Based on Moonjar's defect catalog and tolerance documents:

- Visual and dimensional inspection of every fired piece against the showroom reference sample.

- Classifying defects per the Moonjar methodology.

- Deciding to accept/reject/rework per company standard — distinguishing a defect from natural handmade variation (shade, pattern, and porosity differences are explicitly NOT defects per Moonjar's client-facing documents).

- Logging every batch in a defect journal or application: batch number, item, defect type, kiln position, photo — for later root-cause analysis by the Production Manager.

- Individually protective-packing every fragile item for internal and international shipping

- Coordinating final packed weight/dimensions with the Sales administrator and Export Coordinator for shipment planning.

- Flagging recurring defect patterns to the Production Manager (for root-cause investigation — kiln position, glaze batch, worker technique).

Requirements

- 2+ years of hands-on quality-control experience in ceramics/tile/stone/glass production or a comparable fragile material.

- Ability to use basic measuring tools (calipers/ruler, scale).

- Physically present at the Bali workshop (Gianyar area).

- Working English (reading defect terminology, occasional communication with foreign clients on quality matters).

- Demonstrated attention to detail.

- Understanding that variation ≠ defect (trained on-site to the Moonjar standard, but must be able to absorb this distinction).
