About The Role
The Senior Product Quality Control Inspector ensures that product quality specifications comply with corporate and customer standards. This role supports the implementation of QA/QC policies and oversees product assessments and vendor evaluations.
This job profile is intended for support-level staff that generally works autonomously and only requires closer supervision in non-routine situations.
Purpose of the job
Responsible to conduct Final Visual Inspection for parts or unit that going out to Customer based in accordance with established Quality Standards.
Main Tasks And Responsibilities
- Perform inspection and provide inspection report (QC Pass).
- Review the inspection result and highlight for any non-conformance found.
- Ensure that all parameters have meet the quality standards specified in Quality Plan/Inspection Test Plan and/or contract and/or customer expectations, not only at the end of process but also on between process.
- Record and report the Non-Conformance to Quality Engineer to follow up on the NC Report.
- Conduct witnesses and assessments to vendors if required. Accompany the customer during witness if required.
- Be ready for field assignment if required.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications, attending seminars, watching industry videos, etc.
- Conduct activities in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Maintain safe work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
- Always prioritize safety and use the appropriate PPE.
- Intervene when looking at unsafe acts and conditions. Record it on the observation card.
Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma Degree (D3) in Mechanical Engineering with 2 years of intensive experience in inspection jobs of Turbo machinery equipment (Gas turbine, Steam turbine, Centrifugal compressor, Pump).
- Knowledge to read manufacturing and cross-sectional drawings are a must.
- Familiar with using and reading measurement tools like dial indicator, Vernier caliper, micrometer, and various other types of gauges.
- Familiar with using computer for all Office programs Communication skills.
- Working as a team.
