Job Description
We are seeking a QC Inspector to join our team and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety across all equipment in the power plant. This role is critical during scheduled shutdowns, where comprehensive inspections must be carried out to maintain reliability and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct visual and technical inspections of all power plant equipment (turbine, boiler, generator, piping, valves, electrical systems, etc.).
- Prepare detailed inspection reports in line with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Identify potential defects, non-conformities, or safety risks.
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to follow up on corrective actions.
- Ensure all inspection activities comply with HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) procedures.
- Provide technical recommendations to improve equipment quality and reliability.
Job Requirements – QC Inspector (Power Plant)
Qualifications:
- Minimum Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience as QC Inspector/QA Engineer in a power plant or energy industry.
- Strong knowledge of inspection standards for power plant equipment (ASME, API, ASTM, ISO).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) for technical communication and reporting.
- Relevant certifications, such as:
- NDT Level II/III (UT, RT, MT, PT)
- Welding Inspector (AWS-CWI or CSWIP)
- ISO 9001: Quality Management System
- HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH/OSHA) are an advantage.
