QUALITY CONTROL - COATING INSPECTOR (PROJECT BASED CONTRACT)
Job Description :
- Supervise and perform inspection and testing activities for painting, coating, works in oil and gas projects.
- Ensure coating application complies with project specifications, client requirements, and international standards (NACE/AMPP, FROSIO, SSPC).
- Review coating procedures, inspection reports, and quality documentation.
- Monitor surface preparation, coating application, and curing processes.
- Conduct coating inspections, measurements, and testing to verify quality and compliance.
- Identify non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with contractors, clients, and project teams to maintain coating quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support on coating and corrosion protection activities.
- Identify, report, and document non-conformities, deviations, and quality issues, and follow up corrective actions with relevant parties.
- Perform continual improvement and active in Preventive Action Program
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree (S1) in Engineering or Any Related Major
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in inspection and also testing of Painting/ Coating Works, Linepipe Coating works in oil and gas project
- Having experience and knowing the standard related to Coating (NACE / FROSIO)
- Having a valid Certification of NACE/AMPP/FROSIO Coating Inspector Level 2, Certification SSPC Coating or Painting Engineer and Certification Chief Coating Inspector (NACE/FROSIO Level 3
- Willing to be placed in our Head Office / Site Area / Fabrication
