Company Description
We are a professional engineering and fabrication company delivering mechanical packages for the power generation sector—particularly PLTGU/CCPP projects. Our scope includes fabrication, inspection, and delivery of critical equipment such as bypass stacks, diverter dampers, exhaust/ducting systems, and structural supports, supported by certified welding and coating practices aligned with industry standards.
Role Description
- Execute and maintain QA/QC Plan and ITP (Inspection & Test Plan) for workshop fabrication.
- Conduct daily inspections: fit-up, VT, dimensional checks, material traceability, and production quality monitoring.
- Review and control quality documentation: WPS/PQR/WPQR, MTC/COC, welder qualifications, NDT & coating reports, and as-built dossiers.
- Coordinate witness/hold points with production, engineering, and client/third-party inspectors.
- Ensure compliance for NDT (PT/MT/UT/RT as applicable) and manage findings through proper reporting.
- Supervise surface preparation & painting/coating (blasting standard, DFT, environmental controls).
- Manage NCR/CAR, root cause analysis, and corrective actions until close-out.
- Compile the final QA/QC dossier for handover and support punch list close-out.
Qualifications
Required:
- Diploma/Bachelor's in Engineering (Mechanical/Metallurgy/Industrial or related).
- 2+ years in QA/QC for fabrication workshop/yard.
- Familiar with fabrication processes and documents (ITP, WPS/PQR/WPQR, MTC, traceability, NCR).
- Basic understanding of NDT & coating inspection.
- Ready to work on-site in Gresik during the project period.
Preferred (Plus):
- Experience with PLTGU/CCPP equipment (ducting, stack, diverter damper, silencer).
- Certification: CSWIP 3.1 / AWS / BNSP Welding Inspector and/or coating certifications (AMPP/NACE).
- Experience with EPC/Owner handover dossiers and third-party inspection coordination.
