Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications (especially transactional/financial ystems)
Design and execute test cases and test scenarios based on FSD / TSD
Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT) and Regression Testing
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Project Managers to understand application flows
Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Jira
Perform re-testing and validation of resolved defects
Provide UAT support when required
Conduct data validation using SQL queries
Monitor and analyze application logs for troubleshooting
Participate in integration testing (API & Core Banking System)
Join daily checkpoints and Agile ceremonies

Requirements

Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a QA Manual / Software Tester
Experience in banking or financial services is highly preferred
Strong understanding of: Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Experience in creating detailed test cases and test scenarios
Familiar with tools: Jira (bug tracking), Postman (basic API testing), SQL (for data validation)
Ability to read and understand Functional Specification Documents (FSD) and Technical Specification Documents (TSD)
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
Good communication and teamwork skills
