QA Engineer (Wajib Pengalaman Insurance)

Role Description The QA Engineer is a contract, on-site role based in Jakarta, Indonesia. In this role, the QA Engineer will design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and stability of insurance-related applications and platforms. Day-to-day activities include performing manual testing, identifying and documenting defects, collaborating with developers and business analysts to clarify requirements, and validating fixes in line with insurance business processes. The QA Engineer will also help improve testing standards, contribute to regression and user acceptance testing, and provide clear reporting on test coverage and quality metrics.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Quality Assurance practices, including end-to-end QA processes and methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Test Execution and Test Cases, including designing, maintaining, and executing test scenarios.
• Practical expertise in Manual Testing and Software Testing, particularly for insurance products, workflows, or policy administration systems.
• Ability to analyze requirements, identify edge cases, and translate business rules into effective test coverage.
• Prior work experience in the insurance domain is required; familiarity with local insurance regulations is an advantage.
• Good documentation skills and proficiency in bug tracking and test management tools.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site.
• Relevant bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
