QA Automation Engineer (Mobile) – Client Media & Entertainment | Jakarta

About the Role:

KAZOKKU is hiring a QA Automation Engineer for our client, a media & entertainment company that creates original stories such as comics, animation and more. They also run a comic reading app that is already live on Android and iOS. You'll make the app's automated test coverage stronger, so new features reach readers faster without losing quality.

• Contract: Project-based, 3 months (extendable)
• Work Arrangement: Full WFO
• Office Location: Petojo Utara, Gambir, Central Jakarta
• Notice Period: Immediate / ASAP
• Device: Bring your own device (BYOD)

Key Responsibilities:

• Test the app on real Android and iOS devices
• Review and improve the existing automated test scripts (Maestro), and find scenarios they don't cover yet
• Test new features using both automation and manual testing
• Run regression testing for monthly releases
• Write clear bug reports and test reports in English

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience as a QA Engineer, mainly on mobile apps
• Hands-on experience with mobile test automation (Maestro preferred; Appium, Detox, Katalon or similar also considered)
• Experience testing React Native / Expo apps on Android and iOS
• Strong in manual testing, test case design and regression testing
• Good written English for bug reports and documentation
• Available to start immediately and able to work full-time from the office

Nice to have:

• Experience testing consumer (B2C) content apps, such as reader, streaming or apps with in-app purchases
• Experience setting up or maintaining test automation from scratch
• Familiar with CI/CD for mobile releases
