Python Lead

We are looking for a highly skilled Python Tech Lead to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have 7-8 years of experience in software development and expertise in Flask, FastAPI, Django, Docker, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, Linux, VCS, and CI/CD pipelines. The role requires strong leadership capabilities to drive the technical roadmap, mentor junior developers, and ensure best practices in software development. Experience with AI/ML for at least 1 year is a plus.

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable Python applications.
• Architecture & Design: Architect, develop, and optimize backend services using Flask and FastAPI.
• Database Management: Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Caching & Message Queues: Implement caching strategies using Redis and manage event-driven architecture with Kafka.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Cloud Services: Manage deployments on AWS and GCP, optimizing cost and performance.
• DevOps & CI/CD: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for smooth software delivery.
• System Administration: Work with Linux environments for scripting, automation, and server management.
• Version Control: Ensure best practices in code management using VCS (Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket).
• Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce development best practices.
• AI/ML Integration (Good to Have): Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to integrate ML models into Python applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 7-8 years of professional experience in Python development.
• Strong experience with Flask and FastAPI.
• Expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Hands-on experience with Redis and Kafka.
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Experience deploying applications on AWS and GCP.
• Solid understanding of Linux administration.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and mentorship abilities.
• Good to Have: At least 1 year of experience in AI/ML.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Exposure to security best practices in cloud and backend development.
