Job Description

Job Summary

Responsible for coordinating purchasing activities for goods and services, including exportimport processes, from purchase request to vendor selection, basic negotiation, documentation, and shipment coordination. Ensures material availability with optimal cost, quality, and lead time, while complying with company procedures and regulations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Handle purchase requests and create purchase orders (PO) based on production and internal needs.
  • Search, select, and follow up with local and overseas suppliers.
  • Do basic price and term negotiations with suppliers.
  • Prepare and check exportimport documents (PO, Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, COO, etc.).
  • Coordinate with forwarders/customs brokers for customs clearance and delivery.
  • Monitor shipment status and solve issues (delays, quantity or quality problems).
  • Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Finance, and Quality on material arrival and payment.
  • Maintain purchasing data and documents in ERP or other systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Accounting, Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
  • 13 years experiences in Purchasing or Logistics, preferably with exportimport exposure.
  • Basic knowledge of customs process, HS Code, and exportimport documents.
  • Familiar with Incoterms and basic international trade.
  • Able to communicate in English (especially email with overseas suppliers).
  • Good negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work with deadlines.
