Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchasing Officer, located in Malang. The Purchasing Officer will be responsible for managing purchasing processes, preparing purchase orders and requisitions, sourcing and evaluating suppliers, conducting contract negotiations, and ensuring the timely procurement of goods and services. The role also involves monitoring inventory levels, analyzing purchasing trends, and maintaining strong supplier relationships to ensure optimal cost and quality.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Purchasing Processes, including preparing and managing Purchase Orders and Purchase Requisitions
• Strong Contract Negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and pricing
• Excellent Analytical Skills to evaluate suppliers, pricing, and purchasing trends
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work within tight deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• Previous experience in procurement or purchasing roles is a plus
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and build supplier relationships
• Experienced in procuring industrial materials such as iron, steel, aluminum, bolts, and similar items.
• Residing in Malang and surrounding areas.
