As a Purchasing Manager, youll drive the procurement process to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality fulfillment of goods and servicesranging from packaging materials, raw materials to general items. You&aposll be a strategic partner in optimizing vendor performance, managing costs, and supporting operational excellence.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop and implement short- to mid-term purchasing strategies aligned with company goals.
- Ensure procurement activities are compliant with SOPs, cost-effective, and deliver value.
- Evaluate and improve purchasing systems and processes for better efficiency.
- Oversee vendor selection, price negotiation, and supplier performance management.
- Analyze customs clearance costs, coordinate import operations, and ensure compliance with export-import regulations.
- Maintain strong collaboration across internal teams and external vendors.
- Monitor procurement budget usage and ensure alignment with agreements.
- Lead and develop a high-performing procurement team through coaching and mentoring.

Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Economics, Business Management, or relevant fields.
- 45 years of experience in procurement with 12 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Supplier Relationship Management
- Procurement Policy & Contract Management
- Supply Chain & Purchasing Software
- ERP Systems (SAP / Axapta)
- Proficient in cost management, data analysis, and purchase forecasting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a high-mobility, cross-functional environment.
