We are looking for a Factory Purchasing Manager based in Indonesia to lead plant-level procurement activities. This role will be responsible for supplier development, cost optimization, procurement process management, and cross-functional coordination to support stable factory operations and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee factory procurement activities, including raw materials, auxiliary materials, packaging materials, spare parts, equipment, and other production-related items;
- Develop and implement procurement plans based on production schedules and operational needs;
- Source, evaluate, negotiate with, and manage local suppliers to build a reliable supplier network;
- Continuously improve procurement cost, lead time, and quality performance;
- Manage procurement contracts, purchase orders, payment applications, and related processes to ensure compliance and efficiency;
- Work closely with production, warehouse, finance, quality, and other relevant teams to ensure timely supply of materials;
- Monitor local market trends and supplier conditions in Indonesia to support procurement strategy;
- Complete other tasks assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields;
- At least 3 years of experience in factory procurement or manufacturing procurement, preferably in the building materials industry;
- Solid understanding of procurement processes, supplier development, commercial negotiation, and cost control;
- Fluent in Chinese and Bahasa Indonesia, able to effectively communicate between Chinese management and local teams;
- Familiar with the local procurement environment and supplier market in Indonesia; existing supplier resources are a plus;
- Strong sense of responsibility, execution capability, communication skills, and problem-solving ability;
- Willing to be based in Indonesia for the long term.
Preferred Background:
Candidates with experience in building materials, construction chemicals, mortar, cement, ceramics, adhesives, waterproofing materials, or related industries will be highly preferred.
