Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to protect and enhance the company's reputation
  • Develop and implement corporate communication strategies aligned with our values and regulatory responsibilities
  • Cultivate and maintain constructive relationships with key financial, business, and policy media
  • Manage the company's media presence thoughtfully to ensure accurate and balanced coverage
  • Lead the maintenance of our communication preparedness plans
  • Guide the organization through challenging situations with a focus on clarity, transparency, and maintaining trust
  • Provide thoughtful communication counsel to senior leadership and the Board
  • Assist in preparing executives for public engagements and support the development of speeches, statements, and opinion pieces
  • Shape narratives that highlight our role as a responsible participant in the financial sector
  • Focus on themes like financial inclusion, support for MSMEs, and prudent risk management
  • Foster internal understanding of our external communication goals
  • Provide clear guidance to employees on public communication to ensure consistent and responsible messaging
  • Monitor the media landscape and analyze sentiment to provide insights on reputational trends
  • Report on findings to support informed decision-making
  • Coordinate the company's participation in mandatory financial literacy and public education initiatives as required by OJK regulations
  • Ensure all activities are well-documented and reported in line with regulatory guidelines

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Corporate Communications, Public Affairs, or a related field within financial services, fintech, or another regulated industry
  • A solid understanding of regulatory frameworks and their communication implications
  • Demonstrated experience in media relations and navigating sensitive communication scenarios
  • Strong ethical judgment, a diplomatic approach, and the ability to provide balanced counsel
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English
  • Prior experience engaging with regulators, industry associations, or in policy communication is preferred
  • Existing relationships with financial or business journalists are beneficial
  • Personal qualities of integrity, discretion, and composure
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization and offer professional guidance
