Founded in 1996 and headquartered in Singapore, APRW is one of Singapore's largest and oldest agency. APRW is IPREX's sole representative in Southeast Asia, and represents Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, The Philippines, Vietnam and Malaysia. IPREX is a global platform of communications agencies that delivers successful responses to communication challenges and solutions.

We are seeking a motivated Public Relations Intern in Jakarta, Indonesia, to support the team with various administrative and coordination tasks. The ideal candidate should have strong organisational skills, be proactive, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in verbal and written communication in both Bahasa Indonesia and English is essential.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the execution of the company's PR strategy.
  • Provide strategic input and feedback on PR and or marketing initiatives.
  • Suggest innovative ideas for engaging content.
  • Assist the team media monitoring, media events and press releases.
  • Manage and update media lists and databases.
  • Assist in scheduling and coordinating different events.
  • Conduct research and perform market analysis.
  • Complete administrative duties.

Qualifications:

  • Year 3 or Year 4 students from reputable Indonesian universities majoring in Communications or related studies; others are welcome to apply;
  • Interpersonal skills, good presentation skills and confidence;
  • Good in both oral and written communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English;
  • Willing to learn;
  • Team player who is dedicated and enthusiastic; willing to accept feedback and coaching;
  • Flexibility, determination, enthusiasm, and the ability to cope well under pressure;
  • Business awareness and a good knowledge of current affairs;

Ability to commit for a minimum of 3 months.
