Can you help create clean, welcoming, and well-presented spaces that support an exceptional guest experience

Savaya Group is looking for a Public Area professional to help maintain the appearance, cleanliness, and overall presentation of our Bali operations. You will work closely with Housekeeping, Operations, Engineering, Food and Beverage, Security, and venue leadership to ensure all guest-facing and shared areas meet Savaya Group's standards throughout the day.

This is a hands-on role for a reliable and service-focused team member who takes pride in maintaining high standards across busy hospitality and lifestyle venues.

What You'll Experience

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Support public area operations across leading hospitality and lifestyle venues
• Maintain guest entrances, walkways, lounges, restrooms, event spaces, pool areas, and other shared facilities
• Work with a multicultural team across fast-paced, high-volume operations
• Contribute directly to guest comfort, venue presentation, and service standards
• Support venue openings, private events, peak periods, and special occasions
• Develop practical experience in hospitality housekeeping and venue operations

What You'll Be Doing

You will support the day-to-day cleanliness and presentation of public areas across assigned venues, ensuring facilities remain well maintained, hygienic, and ready for guests throughout operating hours.

You will complete cleaning routines, respond to immediate housekeeping requirements, replenish supplies, and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly. You will work with other departments to minimise disruption and maintain a consistently high standard of guest-facing spaces.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning and maintaining entrances, lobbies, corridors, lounges, terraces, walkways, and shared guest areas
• Maintaining public restrooms, including cleaning, sanitising, and replenishing supplies
• Cleaning and maintaining pool areas, outdoor spaces, event areas, and venue facilities
• Removing rubbish and ensuring waste is handled in line with venue and environmental procedures
• Dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, polishing, and completing other assigned cleaning duties
• Monitoring the presentation of public areas throughout the shift and responding to guest-facing needs
• Replenishing toiletries, paper products, cleaning materials, and other operational supplies
• Reporting damaged fixtures, equipment faults, spills, hazards, and maintenance issues to the relevant department
• Supporting the safe set-up, cleaning, and breakdown of events and high-volume service periods
• Working with Housekeeping, Operations, Engineering, Food and Beverage, and Security teams
• Following cleaning schedules, hygiene procedures, chemical-handling requirements, and workplace safety standards
• Using cleaning equipment and products correctly and responsibly
• Protecting guest privacy and handling lost property in accordance with company procedures
• Maintaining a professional appearance and positive attitude while working in guest-facing areas
• Completing other reasonable duties required to support smooth venue operations
  
  

Could This Be You

• Have you worked in public area cleaning, housekeeping, hospitality, hotels, resorts, restaurants, beach clubs, or similar environments
• Do you take pride in maintaining clean, organised, and well-presented guest areas
• Can you work efficiently while maintaining consistent attention to detail
• Are you comfortable working independently and as part of a multicultural team
• Can you respond calmly and professionally to guest and operational requirements
• Do you understand basic cleaning, hygiene, waste-handling, and workplace safety procedures
• Are you physically comfortable standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working outdoors when required
• Can you identify and report spills, hazards, damaged facilities, and maintenance concerns promptly
• Are you reliable, punctual, well organised, and willing to support colleagues during busy periods
• Can you communicate professionally in English or work effectively with an international team
• Are you prepared to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, early mornings, evenings, or split shifts when required
