Job Description

TECHNICAL ROLE

  • Manage the successful delivery of assigned projects and be accountable for project outcomes.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with the applicable Contract, the agreed schedule and budget, and to quality and safety standards commensurate with the Company policies on HSEQ and to the standards expected of a world class manufacturing company supplying equipment to top tier global oil and gas corporates clients.
  • Protect the Company's commercial position in all projects, pursue receipt of payments from clients, and ensure Company's interests are managed effectively.
  • Liaise with Production to ensure all inputs are established in a timely manner (raw materials, engineering documents and the like), and that the works required under the project are properly scheduled into the overall facility production plan.
  • Lead a team of personnel directly involved in the project and provide a single point interface on projects with the client. Attend client meetings and promote the Company with the client for both current and future work.
  • Work with the Project Director to review current systems and approach and help establish improved project management systems as well as implementation of improved systems and methods across all projects.
  • Other related tasks or jobs as assigned by Project Director
  • Comply with existing safety and health regulations (wear all PPE as required by superior).
  • Comply with Quality Management System, OHSAS and other systems required by company
  • Project Manager is accountable for the planning, procurement, and execution of a project.
  • Project Managers are first point of contact within a project including for any issues or discrepancies arising from a project
  • Expenditure in line with approved Project budget, or as otherwise set out in policy documents from time to time

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

Minimum: Engineering degree or equivalent.

KNOWLEDGE/COURSES

  • Minimum 3 years of previous experience as a Project Engineer.
  • Understanding of Business principles
  • Commercial acumen.
  • Quality and Safety.
  • Understands Integrated Management Systems
  • Fluent with Microsoft office and Microsoft Project.
  • Demonstrable high level of integrity.
  • Hard-working, dedicated and committed.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Good People management skills.
  • Negotiation skills.
