Adecco Indonesia is representing a growing Data Centre project in Indonesia and is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the project delivery team.
This is a senior project leadership opportunity for a professional with strong experience in Data Centre, Mission Critical, Infrastructure, or large-scale complex projects, who is comfortable managing fast-paced project environments and coordinating multiple stakeholders from project initiation through completion and handover.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with agreed scope, schedule, cost, quality, and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of Data Centre projects from project initiation through construction, testing & commissioning, completion, and final handover.
- Develop and execute project delivery strategies in line with contractual, technical, commercial, and customer requirements.
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, operations, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
- Manage project schedules, milestones, resources, budgets, risks, issues, and overall project performance.
- Coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, authorities, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review project designs, technical submissions, construction plans, method statements, and project documentation.
- Monitor construction progress and ensure works are executed in accordance with approved designs, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Drive testing, commissioning, integrated systems testing, defect close-out, operational readiness, and project handover activities.
- Identify project risks and proactively develop mitigation and recovery plans to maintain project timelines.
- Manage project changes, variations, claims, commercial issues, and contractual requirements where applicable.
- Resolve technical and operational issues effectively and drive stakeholders toward timely closure.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, HSE requirements, quality standards, and Data Centre reliability expectations.
- Provide regular project updates, performance reports, and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement and apply industry best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Minimum 15 years of total professional experience, with at least 8 years of relevant experience in Data Centre / Mission Critical projects.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale Data Centre, Mission Critical, infrastructure, industrial, or complex building projects.
- Strong understanding of multidisciplinary project delivery, including MEP, construction, engineering, commissioning, and building services.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects from design and planning through construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Strong project management capabilities across schedule, cost, quality, risk, resources, and stakeholder management.
- Experience managing consultants, contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong understanding of project governance, construction processes, quality control, HSE, and commissioning requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-growing, dynamic, and agile project environment with changing priorities and tight delivery timelines.
- Strong leadership capability with the ability to make decisions, manage escalations, and drive issues to closure.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and commonly used project management and reporting tools.
- Professional certifications in project management or relevant technical disciplines will be an advantage.
