The role is responsible for shipment expediting, planning, forecasting and coordination, ensuring that shipment information is accurate, available on time and effectively communicated to support operational planning and project delivery requirements.
How you create impact
- Develop and maintain accurate shipment forecasts covering cargo readiness, volumes, origins, shipment dates and delivery dates.
- Proactively follow up with clients, suppliers and project stakeholders for missing or updated shipment information.
- Monitor shipment readiness and identify delays, information gaps and operational risks early.
- Communicate shipment priorities, changes and requirements clearly and on time.
- Plan shipment timing in line with project and site delivery requirements.
- Identify and coordinate requirements for heavy-lift, oversized and other special cargo.
- Prepare shipment tracking and forecast reports to support operational planning.
- Work closely with operations and forwarding teams to translate forecasts into actionable shipment plans.
- Maintain close communication with clients and ensure agreed actions are followed through.
- Escalate risks and issues promptly and drive resolution where required.
- Support smooth shipment execution throughout the project lifecycle.
What we would like you to bring
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project logistics, freight forwarding or expediting.
- Strong experience in project / EPC logistics and forwarding.
- Proven experience in shipment planning, forecasting and expediting.
- Strong understanding of cargo information, shipment documentation and delivery requirements.
- Experience dealing directly with clients, EPC contractors, suppliers and logistics partners.
- Exposure to heavy-lift, oversized or complex cargo.
- Strong Excel and shipment tracking / reporting skills.
- Strong planning, organization and follow-up capability.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
