About You
We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Financial Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring all financial aspects of our various projects, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining strong financial controls while working closely with project managers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with delegated financial authorities and established procedures.
- Manage project invoicing, reconciliations, and revenue recognition processes.
- Reconcile bank accounts, allocate client payments, and support debt collection activities.
- Provide high quality service to internal and external clients, maintaining professional communication at all times.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Beca offices and contribute to Finance team initiatives.
- Identify and address issues proactively, recommending process improvements where appropriate.
- Support special projects as directed and participate actively in team meetings.
- Strong administrative, numeracy, and procedural skills.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets, reconciliations, and data analysis.
- Effective communication and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage expectations professionally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 1 years of experience in project financial management or similar role (fresh graduate are welcome)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Fluent in English both written and verbal
- Experience with project management software is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
