Role Description The Project Estimator is a full-time, on-site role based in Jakarta, responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for new restaurant outlets, renovations, and other construction or fit-out projects. This role involves reviewing architectural and engineering drawings, defining scopes of work, and obtaining quotations from suppliers and contractors. The Project Estimator will analyze labor, material, and equipment costs, develop detailed budgets, and support cost control throughout the project lifecycle. Daily tasks include collaborating with project managers, operations, and procurement teams, updating estimates based on design changes, and preparing clear documentation for approvals and reporting. The role also includes identifying cost-saving opportunities while ensuring compliance with company standards and local regulations.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in Cost Management and Budgeting to develop, monitor, and optimize project financial plans.
• Experience in Construction Estimating and Project Estimation for restaurant, retail, or commercial construction projects.
• Effective Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers and to present estimates clearly.
• Proficiency with estimation and spreadsheet software (e.g., MS Excel) and basic project management tools.
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and local building regulations relevant to fit-out and renovation projects.
• Detail-oriented, analytical mindset with the ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in F&B, hospitality, or retail project environments in Indonesia is an advantage.
