Job Description

With 4+ years in interior construction estimation, you know that a successful rollout isn't just about the blueprintit's about the bottom line. Kenangan Brands is looking for a seasoned Project Estimator to own the cost strategy for our nationwide expansion. Immediate starter will be advantageous.

If you've mastered the fast-paced world of F&B or Retail fit-outs in Indonesia, we want your expertise to help us scale even faster.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Degree holder in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering with at least 4 years working experience in interior construction cost estimation, preferably in Food & Beverage (F&B), retail, interior contractor, or estimating consultants.
  • Experience in hands-on managing multiple projects cost estimation due to rapid expansion.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, cost estimation software and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other project documents.
  • Proven ability to rapidly adapt and excel in a quickly evolving, fast-paced setting
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with multiple stakeholders.

Job Role:

  • Blueprint to BOQ: Transform architectural drawings into precise Bill of Quantities (BOQ); taking into consideration project scope, schedules and potential risk and incorporate them into the estimate.
  • Vendor Ecosystem: Distribute BOQs to our network of contractors and vendors across Indonesia.
  • Cost Analysis & Review: Rigorously review contractors bids for accuracy and market alignment.
  • Internal Synergy: Partner with Internal Audit to validate quotations and ensure transparency.
  • Strategic Negotiation: Act as the bridge between Audit and Contractorsnegotiating pricing to achieve the best value without compromising quality.
  • Final Approval: Manage the end-to-end pricing workflow until formal approval is secured.
  • Update estimates: Revise estimates as needed based on changes to the project scope, design, or other factors.
  • Prepare and present reports: Provide detailed breakdowns of estimated costs and present them to management, clients, or other stakeholders.
  • Track project budgets: Monitor project spending during execution to ensure the project stays within budget.
