Responsible for managing projects to ensure timely completion, within budget, according to technical specifications, quality standards, and HSSE requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Lead and coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, HSE, QA/QC, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Monitor project progress, productivity, cost, quality, and cash flow.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, contracts, HSSE requirements, and Permit to Work procedures.
- Manage project risks, delays, changes, claims, and contract matters.
- Coordinate with owners, consultants, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Lead project teams, set targets, and monitor team performance.
- Manage testing, commissioning, handover, punch list, and project close-out documentation.
- Provide regular project progress reports and recommendations to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Civil, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline
- Minimum 8 years of experience in construction/project management, preferably in industrial or infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience managing project schedule, budget, quality, HSSE, and contractors.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, project management, and contract management.
- Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to manage multiple stakeholders and work under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) is an advantage.
