Project Director

Job Description

• Project Leadership Lead the overall planning, execution, and delivery of the XLSmart Project.
• Develop and monitor the Master Project Plan, milestones, and project progress.
• Ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and according to agreed requirements.
• Customer Management Act as the key interface between ZTE and the customer for major meetings, project issues, and escalations.
• Manage customer expectations and maintain good relationships with key stakeholders, including C-Level customers.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and timely resolution of project issues.
• Project Delivery & Control Ensure all project deliverables are completed according to contractual requirements and quality standards.
• Manage project scope, risks, resources, and costs.
• Identify project deviations and implement preventive or corrective actions when necessary.
• Team & Resource Management Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams and resources.
• Monitor team performance and ensure effective resource allocation.
• Conduct regular project reviews and lessons learned.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
• Proven experience as a Project Director / Senior Project Manager, preferably managing projects with 2,000+ sites.
• Experience with ZTE, Huawei, Ericsson, or Nokia is highly preferred.
• Strong experience in telecom rollout, network deployment, or managed services projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to communicate and maintain relationships with C-Level customers.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer/IT, or related fields.
