THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Project Coordinator to support the delivery of eye health programs in South Sulawesi and nearby areas in Indonesia. Working closely with government, hospitals, NGOs, and community partners, you'll help coordinate activities, strengthen partnerships, support reporting, and ensure programs run smoothly on the ground while contributing to stronger local eye health services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate day-to-day project activities across South Sulawesi and nearby areas, helping ensure activities are delivered on time and aligned with agreed plans and budgets.
  • Work closely with government, hospitals, partner organisations, and community stakeholders to support coordination, planning, training, and implementation activities.
  • Help coordinate project reporting, data tracking, and monitoring activities using internal systems and tools.
  • Support finance and operational processes including procurement, logistics, and expenditure tracking in line with organisational requirements.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and support communication, advocacy, and community engagement activities related to eye health.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • At least 3 years experience coordinating projects in public health, community development, or the INGO sector.
  • Experience working with government agencies, hospitals, partner organisations, or donor-funded programs.
  • Strong coordination and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities and timelines.
  • Good communication and relationship-building skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • Comfortable working with reporting systems, data tracking, and basic financial processes.

Experience working in international development, health systems strengthening, or community-based health programs would be an advantage.
