Discovering the role
Detail-oriented support for electronic security system projects. Works with project managers and cross-functional teams to help deliver CCTV, access control, intrusion, and low-voltage projects safely, on time, and to expectations.
Main Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers in coordinating security system projects from kickoff to closeout
- Create and maintain project schedules, task lists, and action items
- Track project progress, milestones, and deliverables
- Organize and maintain project files, documentation, and correspondence
- Coordinate installation schedules with technicians, subcontractors, and vendors
- Communicate with clients on site access, installation dates, and project requirements
- Prepare meeting agendas, capture notes, and follow up on action items
- Provide regular project status updates to internal stakeholders
- Assist with ordering, tracking, staging, and delivery of equipment and materials
- Monitor material availability and maintain project-related inventory records
- Support preparation of work orders, change requests, purchase orders, and closeout documents
- Learn security system fundamentals through training and hands-on exposure with project and field teams
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- 2 years of relevant experience in project coordination, admin support, or technical environments.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and task prioritization.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with project or scheduling tools.
- Willingness to learn and understand electronic security, low-voltage, or technical systems.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service mindset.
- Dependable, team-oriented, and able to perform well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
- Primarily office-based role with occasional site visits, light physical activity, and some schedule flexibility.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English is a must.
