We are currently looking for an Project Accountant to join our Project Services team based in South-Jakarta.
As an Project Accountant / Cost Controller at Wave I, you will collaborate closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate budgeting, effective cost monitoring, and timely reporting that supports successful project delivery.
General Responsibilities
- Reviewing weekly timesheet hours to ensure accurate allocation of time and costs to work.
- Aligning client and internal financial systems to facilitate billing and cost reconciliation.
- Timely capture of rate data changes in BST and submission for client approval.
- Invoicing clients in accordance with contract terms.
- Managing customer financial audit processes and ensuring resolutions are reached.
- Ensuring customer payments meet contractual timing.
- Reporting on contract performance and analysing variances through internal and external reports and other required reports.
- Conducting the month-end close for the contract and submitting various group reporting requirements.
- Developing a comprehensive understanding of the contract's financial and commercial terms to provide value-added analysis.
- Addressing all other financial analysis and data requests from the project managers and corporate.
- Managing the budgeting and forecasting process driving deadlines, deliverables, and analysing forecasted revenue and margin against prior years.
- Managing internal and external stakeholders for all financial matters.
- Performing risk assessments on all financial processes and implementing mitigating controls as necessary.
Key Skills
- Excellent spoken and written communication in English.
- Strong ability to interpret and communicate complex information.
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use of Excel, MYOB and other IT systems.
- Ability to quickly learn specialist software (BST).
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- High-level numeracy skills.
