Transition Manager in Cloud, Infrastructure Digital Workplace Services Location: Bangalore, India Hybrid Travel Requirement: Willingness to travel across India and overseas based on project and client requirements. Ability to work in customer time zones when required. Experience: 12 to14 years Role Overview: We are seeking a Transition Manager with expertise in Cloud, Infrastructure, Digital Workplace, and End User Computing transitions. The role will support the Service Transition Center of Excellence CoE by developing transition solutions and executing service transitions for small to medium-sized deals < USD 2M Annual Contract Value. Key Responsibilities 1. Develop transition solutions, transition approaches, and supporting artifacts during RFP stages. 2. Prepare detailed transition plans including milestones, deliverables, timelines, and gating criteria. 3. Lead transition execution across Cloud, Infrastructure, Network, and Digital Workplace services. 4. Support customer discussions, governance meetings, and transition workshops. 5. Coordinate transition activities including KT, operational readiness, and service acceptance. 6. Track and manage risks, dependencies, issues, and escalations. 7. Develop transition reports, dashboards, and governance updates for stakeholders. 8. Ensure alignment with organizational quality standards and compliance requirements. 9. Collaborate with Service Quality Assurance SQA teams during audits and reviews. 10. Drive continuous improvement and standardization across transition activities. Required Skills Competencies 1. Strong understanding of Cloud, Infrastructure, Network, and Digital Workplace services. 2. Experience in IT service transition planning and execution. 3. Knowledge of ITIL processes, governance, SLAs, and KPIs. 4. Strong communication and customer-facing skills. 5. Ability to manage cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders. 6. Strong documentation, reporting, and presentation skills. 7. Knowledge of IT Asset Management, Field Services, and Level-1 Service Desk operations is preferred. 8. Exposure to GenAI-based enablers such as Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, or similar productivity solutions is desirable. 9. Experience working with transition management platforms and automation tools is preferred. 10. Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Preferred Qualifications Certifications 1. Bachelors degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline. 2. ITIL PMP Prince2 Agile certifications are good to have. 3. Experience with ITSM and project management tools preferred.
