POSITION INTRODUCTORY:
Production Support Machine Technician is to monitors, and maintains production equipment to ensure efficient, high-quality manufacturing. Key responsibilities include performing routine checks and maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, inspecting products for quality, documenting production data, and following safety procedures to maintain a safe and productive work environment
RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Provide technical support for production machinery such as filling machines, sealing machines, soldering stations, laser marking systems, assembly lines, and packaging equipment.
- Ensure machines are properly set up, calibrated, and ready for production runs.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, or control issues on production machines.
- Respond quickly to production machine breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Carry out routine preventive maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform corrective maintenance based on inspection results or operator feedback.
- Keep detailed records of machine maintenance activities.
- Suggest and implement improvements to enhance machine performance, reliability, and efficiency.
- Support engineering team in modification, retrofit, or upgrade projects.
- Ensure machines are operated and maintained according to safety standards (EHS/K3).
- Verify that safety devices (guards, sensors, interlocks) are functional and compliant with company regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of machine performance, downtime, and repair history.
- Report recurring issues and propose long-term solutions.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., TPM, Lean Manufacturing).
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum education: Vocational School (SMK) / Diploma (D3) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering.
- At least 23 years of hands-on experience in production machine maintenance or support, preferably in electronics, FMCG, or precision manufacturing.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, sensors, motors, and basic PLC/inverter operation.
- Ability to read and understand machine manuals, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams.
- Understanding of preventive maintenance principles and production processes.
- Safety-conscious with knowledge of EHS standards.
