Job Description
The Production Support role is responsible for providing application support, issue analysis, and problem resolution the SalesHub POS application. The resource will support daily production operations, handle incidents and service requests, and coordinate with business users and technical teams to ensure application stability.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Java and the Spring Framework for developing and troubleshooting enterprise applications.
- Ability to diagnose production issues using logs, monitoring tools, and debugging techniques in a Linux/Unix environment.
- Familiarity with relational databases, SQL, and performance optimization for production workloads.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in production support, incident management, or SRE/DevOps environments is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle, analyze, and resolve production incident tickets reported by business users.
- Support service request, including data inquiry, data extract, report, validation, and ad-hoc request.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and support the implementation of permanent fixes.
- Monitor application health check activities daily
- Coordinate with business users and internal teams to ensure issues and requests are completed properly.
- Provide progress updates to users until the issue or request is resolved.
- Support planned validation activities during weekend or night deployment when required.
