Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist Senior/Production Executive in monitoring overall SMT line performance.
- Responsible for daily SMT production target achievement, including output and OTD.
- Lead and motivate SMT production leaders, technicians, operators, MH, clerks, and manufacturing specialists to meet production goals.
- Ensure proper utilization and control of manpower to prevent bottlenecks across SMT lines.
- Monitor SMT production planning, machine capacity, and material readiness.
- Ensure SMT operators are properly trained and strictly follow work instructions, SOPs, and process parameters.
- Ensure adherence to quality plans, procedures, and SMT process controls to deliver high-quality products.
- Monitor and improve SMT process efficiency, defect rates, rework, and downtime.
- Maintain workforce discipline by monitoring absenteeism, tardiness, and compliance with company policies.
- Liaise with Engineering, QA, Planning, Maintenance, and other departments to achieve SMT production goals.
- Responsible for SMT output, OTD, 5S, ESD compliance, and safety.
- Report SMT-related KPI(s) and other management-assigned KPI(s).
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing and waste reduction activities within SMT operations.
Required Skills / Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical & Electronic, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SMT or Electronics Manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of SMT processes, machines, materials, and quality control.
- Proven leadership, decision-making, and people management skills.
- Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Able to perform under pressure and manage urgent production issues.
- Positive mindset with a strong Can-Do attitude.
