Production Section Head/Production Supervisor

The Production Section Head/Production Supervisor role oversees press, inspection, and coating processes within a manufacturing environment. The position plays a key part in coordinating production workflows, using operational data to improve performance, and leading continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining quality and health, safety, and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate press, inspection, and coating production processes
• Manage production workflows and coordinate activities across production functions
• Use production data to identify and drive operational improvements
• Lead Kaizen, 5S, and internal development initiatives
• Ensure production activities comply with quality and health, safety, and environmental standards
• Report directly to the assistant factory manager
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or another relevant discipline
• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing production
• Strong understanding of production processes and workflows
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, Japanese Agricultural Standards (JAS), and health, safety, and environmental requirements
• Good knowledge of Kaizen and 5S principles
• Digital literacy, an improvement-oriented approach, and awareness of current manufacturing trends
• Strong leadership and cross-functional coordination skills
• English communication skills would be an advantage
