Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Master Production Scheduling: Architect and oversee end-to-end production schedules to ensure operational readiness, optimal machine utilization, and 100% on-time order fulfillment.
  • Strategic Inventory Management: Control and optimize stock levels across raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods, balancing working capital targets with line continuity.
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: Serve as the critical bridge between Production, Warehouse, Tank Farm, Procurement, Logistics, Quality, and Commercial teams to align supply capability with market demand.
  • Risk Mitigation & Supply Assurance: Proactively track raw and bulk material availability, identifying bottlenecks, supplier lead-time variances, and inventory risks before they impact throughput.
  • Digitalization & Continuous Improvement: Spearhead planning standardization, workflow automation, and ERP system enhancements to drive lean planning practices.
  • Analytics & Performance Tracking: Evaluate core planning KPIs (OTIF, forecast accuracy, inventory turns) and deliver regular operational insights to senior leadership.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor, supervise, and upskill the PPIC planning team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous development.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience: 5+ years of core PPIC or supply planning experience in a process manufacturing environment (e.g., Chemicals, FMCG, Oils/Food Processing, or bulk liquid handling). Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or team-lead role.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (such as SAP PP/MM) and advanced MS Excel/data analysis tools; experience with Tank Farm or bulk liquid inventory is a strong advantage.
  • Core Competencies: Proven expertise in cross-functional stakeholder management, bottleneck resolution, and lean inventory modeling.
  • Leadership: Track record of coaching junior planners and driving operational standardization across complex supply networks.
  • Willing to be based in Dumai, Riau, with regular cycle (annual leave = 12 working days).
