PT Arnott's Indonesia is a multinational company with brand Good Time and Nyam Nyam. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly engaged and passionate Production Manager, placed in Bekasi.
Responsibilities:
Operation Management
- Ensure that all employees understand the quality, safety, budgetary KPIs, and production standards, and that plans are in place to ensure these are met.
- Work closely with R&D/QA function to anticipate and proactively address Quality and Food Safety issues based on standards applied in Arnott's Group.
- Identification, development and implementation of plans to address key issues faced with detailed action plans to line / functional departmental level, including process/system improvements and cost reduction initiatives
- Ensuring cross functional coordination are maximized and that business processes such as NPD are fully integrated and aligned
- Ensure manufacturing performance and overhead expenditure, across all functions, do not exceed budgets, and appropriate initiatives are developed and implemented to reduce costs and manage out of plan risks and opportunities.
- Coaching, mentoring and development of the team. Taking responsibility for performance management and planning processes of this team and delivery of processes across the functions.
Projects Management
- Partnership with R&D, Marketing and Business Development to develop and deliver on NPD and Co-Manufacturing plans
- Ensure that Product Development activities within the Plant are well managed – to deliver new product launches on agreed cost, quality and time lines.
- Conduct feasibility studies for New Product Development in term of capability of production equipment.
- Identification of additional equipment need or improvement needed from current MFG manufacturing capability in relation with NPD being develop
- To lead all project trials related NPD, Co-man, new RM/PM, enabler & automatization.
- To provide all required data related production (Routing, POS, trial cost, etc) for project financial purpose
Enablers / Continuous Improvement
- Drive a continuous improvement culture. Implement procedures that accurately monitor and encourage behavior that recognizes the importance of safety, quality and excellence in all aspects of work.
- Active as Lean Six Sigma Steering Committee that engage in determine the Continuous Improvement Strategy and project approval.
Ingredients you will need to be successful in this role:
- Bachelor or Master degree from any disciplines with minimum 5 – 10 year experience in medium to high volume manufacturing environment
- Green Belt Lean Six Sigma Skill
- Project Management Skill
- Deep understanding of new product engineering process
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally, manage diverse group and influence, deploy and manage strategic initiatives
