PRODUCTION MANAGER
Garment Manufacturing | Salatiga, Central Java
About The Role
Our client is a well-established garment manufacturer in Salatiga, Central Java, producing quality apparel for domestic and export markets. They seek a results-driven Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations, drive operational excellence, and ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Control: Oversee end-to-end garment production (cutting, sewing, finishing, packing) ensuring output targets are met within cost and time parameters.
Quality Assurance: Enforce strict QC standards across all production lines in compliance with buyer specifications, fabric standards, and
export regulatory requirements.
Team Leadership: Lead and develop supervisors, line leaders, and operators; conduct performance evaluations and foster a culture of
continuous improvement.
Capacity & Resource Optimization: Monitor machine efficiency and manpower utilization; identify bottlenecks and drive corrective actions to maximize output and reduce waste.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with merchandising, sourcing, engineering, and HR to align production schedules with order commitments and shipment deadlines.
KPI Reporting: Prepare and present production performance reports tracking efficiency rate, rejection rate, and delivery adherence to
senior management.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure the production floor adheres to K3 regulations, factory compliance standards, and buyer environmental and social guidelines.
Qualifications
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Experience: Minimum 5-6 years as Production Manager or Factory Manager in garment, apparel, or textile manufacturing with direct
responsibility for high-volume production lines.
Leadership & Managerial Competency: Proven ability to lead large teams (500+ personnel), manage multi-line operations, and drive
performance through delegation, coaching, and accountability.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of garment production methods (CMT/FOB), and familiarity with buyer compliance standards (BSCI, SEDEX, or equivalent).
Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Strong capability in identifying inefficiencies, implementing lean/IE principles, and using data-driven
approaches to improve productivity.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Textile Technology, or related field. Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia; working knowledge of English is an advantage.
