Production Engineer
Purpose:
Provide expertise for site operation to continuously improve performance, facilitating lean best practices implementation, production process and cost improvement projects, fostering OE culture and accelerating digital transformation.
YOUR TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leading deployment of OE best practices at Site (Focus Improvement, User Driven Maintenance, Asset Care, Set up Time Reduction, Quality, etc) as well as personnel competency development program.
- Facilitate digitalization initiatives and implementation at Site , and act as Local Process Expert (LPE) and site contact of digitalization program, collaborate with stakeholder regarding digitalization idea collection, develop and maintain digital mindset and digital platform for the site through regular sharing/training, facilitate the PRA (Plant Readiness Assessment)
- Continuously seeking improvement opportunity and facilitate process and cost improvement projects to improve site productivity, efficiency and cost competitiveness.
- Leading and facilitating new production facilities design development and/or current facilities improvement (e.g site capacity improvement project, Processing/packaging facilities improvement/replacement, utility equipment improvement, etc) in collaboration with local/regional/global technical expertise, and ensure all necessary documentations (URS, MOC, MSA, etc) are in place.
- Facilitating idea collection program for improvement focusing on OE saving initiatives, waste reduction/elimination, operational safety improvement and product quality.
- Coordinating implementation of people development and upskilling program in the site, in coordination with relevant functions (OE&Innovation Manager, HR Partner, etc).
- Perform Machinery Safety Assessment (MSA) and act as site&aposs dedicated Machinery Safety Specialist.
- Coordinating Plant & Process Safety (PPS) program implementation in collaboration with relevant functions (Regional PPS Practitioner and E&P)
WHO YOU ARE:
- Education: Diploma / Bachelor degree in related technical major i.e. mechanical/ electrical/ chemical / industrial engineering
- Relevant experiences:
- Having experience in chemical manufacturing process/FMCG, engineering projects, production operation and similar process of formulation and filling & packing at least 5 years
- Having experience in implementing IMS standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and SMK3)
- Skills and competencies:
- Strong communication skill in Bahasa and English
- Computer and digital tools (MS Excel, PowerBI, SAP, etc)
- Able to implement DSO behaviors and VACC leadership model
