Why do we need you
We are looking for a Producer to join our production team and work closely with our photographers, retouchers and production team.
You'll be involved in the day-to-day life of the studio, supporting shoots from preparation through to production and helping make sure everything runs smoothly on set.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is organized, reliable, curious, proactive and genuinely interested in photography and visual production.
You'll work alongside our photographers and the wider Supercool team, gaining real experience in how a professional photo & video studio operates, from equipment and lighting to set preparation, production and post-production.
Role Overview
The Photo & Video Shoot Producer is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the operational and logistical aspects of photo and video productions from initial preparation through to completion.
The role acts as a central point of coordination between the client, creative team, photographers, videographers, assistants, stylists, models, hair and makeup artists, studio team and external suppliers.
The Producer ensures that productions are properly prepared, clearly communicated and executed efficiently, professionally and within the agreed scope, schedule and budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Review production briefs and identify all operational, logistical and creative requirements.
- Coordinate pre production planning for photo and video shoots.
- Prepare production schedules, call sheets, crew information and shooting timelines.
- Coordinate communication between clients and the Supercool production team & Photographer.
- Confirm shooting dates, locations, studio requirements, crew availability and production resources.
- Coordinate photographers, videographers, assistants, stylists, models, hair and makeup artists and other production crew.
- Coordinate equipment requirements and ensure that all necessary equipment is available and ready for production.
- Coordinate props, sets, styling requirements and other production materials.
- Prepare and communicate detailed production information to the relevant team members before each shoot.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure that the shoot remains on time.
- Act as the operational point of contact during productions & the client.
- Anticipate potential production issues and find practical solutions quickly.
- Coordinate client requirements and communicate any changes clearly to the internal team.
- Ensure that the production follows the approved brief and agreed scope.
- Monitor production related expenses and maintain accurate records of production costs.
- Coordinate external suppliers and freelancers when required.
- Ensure that all equipment, props, products and production materials are properly managed throughout the shoot.
- Coordinate studio preparation and pack down.
- Ensure that the studio is left clean, organized and ready for the next production.
- Follow up on production deliverables and post production requirements after the shoot.
- Coordinate with photographers, videographers and retouchers regarding file transfers, selections, retouching requirements and final deliveries when required.
- Maintain clear documentation of production information, contacts, schedules and expenses.
- Identify opportunities to improve production workflows, communication and efficiency.
- Support the development of better production systems and processes within Supercool.

- The Producer is also expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of Supercool's production systems and to identify practical ways to make productions more efficient, professional and scalable.
