About the Role
We are seeking a Product Validation Expert to support the evaluation of a widely used AI-powered consumer product. In this role, you will help ensure the product delivers safe, accurate, and helpful experiences for end users.
You will design evaluation frameworks, assess AI-generated outputs from a user experience (UX) perspective, and provide actionable insights that improve product quality and safety standards.
This is a remote contract opportunity offering flexible scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop structured rubrics to evaluate AI model outputs from a UX and safety perspective
- Review and analyze AI-generated responses to identify potential usability risks or quality concerns
- Execute evaluation tasks with strong attention to detail and consistency
- Partner with cross-functional teams to refine validation criteria and product safety standards
- Translate user insights into clear, actionable recommendations for product and model improvement
- Document findings in a structured, stakeholder-friendly format
- Monitor evolving AI product usage patterns and proactively identify emerging user experience risks
Required Qualifications
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong clarity and precision
- Experience designing or applying evaluative frameworks balancing UX, safety, and product performance
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to assess potential user risks and usability challenges objectively
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments
- Ability to document complex findings in a structured, actionable manner
- Availability to commit at least 15 hours per week
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with widely used AI consumer products and common user journeys
- Experience in product quality, trust & safety, AI evaluation, UX research, or related fields
