Job Description:
A Product Solution Expert (PSE) Cloud is responsible for providing consultation and solutions regarding cloud solutions, including private cloud, hyper-scaler cloud, and hybrid-multi cloud, based on customer needs captured from market insights, sales segments, partners, and other opportunities.This role requires the ability to analyze customer technical and business requirements, identify operational challenges, and propose optimization opportunities via cloud.Product Solution Experts design solution architectures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, hybrid cloud) and ensure they align with best practices and cloud provider compliance.They collaborate closely with internal teams such as sales, pre-sales, technical engineers, and delivery, and provide insights for internal cloud product development.The PSE Cloud is also tasked with delivering technical presentations and demonstrations to internal and external customers, acting as a technical bridge in tender and proposal processes.Furthermore, they are responsible for conducting Proof of Concept (POC) implementations and creating comprehensive project documentation, including Solution Architecture Diagrams, SOW, and TCO analysis.
Requirements
Educational Background
- Minimum education level : Bachelors, or Masters degree.
- Preferred majors : Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
Work Experience
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the IT industry.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in cloud solutions.
- Proven track record in developing cloud-based solutions, demonstrated through the implementation of at least 5 use cases (e.g., migration, application development, etc.).
Technical Certifications :
Certified in one or more of the following: AWS, GCP, Alibaba Cloud, VMware, Kubernetes, ITIL Foundation.
Minimum level : Engineer Associate; Professional-level certifications are highly preferred.
Cloud Platforms & Services:
- Strong understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS concepts across major cloud platforms: AWS, Alibaba Cloud, GCP, Azure, OpenStack.
Infrastructure & Architecture:
- Familiar with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, Hyper-V), storage types (Object, Block, File such as S3, EBS, NAS), and networking components (VPC, VPN, Load Balancer, Subnetting).
- Capable of designing both high-level and low-level architectures for multi-tier applications, hybrid cloud environments, and high availability/disaster recovery systems.
Security & DevOps:
- Knowledgeable in IAM, SSO, ACL, Zero Trust, WAF, and KMS.
- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes-related automation tools.
Cloud Economics & Delivery:
- Able to calculate TCO/ROI, perform resource sizing, and optimize cloud costs.
- Skilled in building technical prototypes/POCs and deploying demo solutions for clients.
- Experienced in supporting sales teams with technical presentations, responding to RFI/RFPs, and crafting solution proposals.
- Proficient in documenting end-to-end solutions (SOW, Design Documents, BoQ).
- Quick to analyze system gaps and propose alternative technical or commercial solutions.
Design & Business Acumen:
- Understanding of design thinking and design sprint methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of business strategy, financial analysis, and cloud FinOps.
