Product Manager – Payment Systems
Requirements :
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Product Management, with at least 3 years in payment systems, fintech, banking, or financial services.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end payment ecosystem, including payment gateways, virtual accounts, QR payments, e-wallets, card payments, remittance, settlement, and reconciliation.
- Proven experience defining product strategy, roadmap, and feature prioritization based on business objectives and customer needs.
- Ability to translate business requirements into detailed product requirements and user stories for engineering teams.
- Experience working closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Design, QA, Operations, Compliance, and Business stakeholders.
- Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, and technical concepts to effectively collaborate with development teams.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data and customer insights to drive product decisions.
- Experience managing the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and using tools such as Jira or Confluence.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience launching or managing products in payments, digital banking, fintech, or merchant acquiring.
- Understanding of payment industry standards and regulations, such as PCI DSS, ISO 8583, or ISO 20022.
- Knowledge of fraud prevention, risk management, and transaction monitoring within payment systems.
- Experience working with international payment methods, cross-border payments, or financial APIs is a plus.
- MBA or relevant product management certifications (e.g., CSPO, Pragmatic, or equivalent) is an advantage.
