About the Role

As a Product LiveOps Manager, you will own the planning and execution of live events, promotions, player engagement initiatives, and monetization activities across our game portfolio. This role combines Product Management, Game Design, Analytics, and Monetization to create meaningful experiences for players while achieving business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute LiveOps strategies, event calendars, seasonal campaigns, and promotional activities.
  • Design and optimize in-game events, rewards, progression systems, and engagement mechanics.
  • Manage monetization initiatives including virtual item pricing, bundles, limited-time offers, and sales campaigns.
  • Analyze player behavior, game economy performance, retention, and revenue metrics to identify growth opportunities.
  • Conduct A/B testing and data-driven experiments to improve engagement and monetization outcomes.
  • Develop player segmentation and personalization strategies to deliver targeted offers and experiences.
  • Monitor key KPIs including DAU, MAU, Retention (D1/D7/D30), ARPDAU, Conversion Rate, and Revenue.
  • Collaborate with Product, Game Design, Engineering, Art, Marketing, Community, and Customer Support teams to execute LiveOps initiatives.
  • Manage live service operations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth event execution.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the gaming industry.
  • Mandatory experience working for a game studio, game publisher, or live-service gaming company.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in LiveOps, Product Management, Monetization, Game Economy, Product Analytics, or related fields.
  • Proven experience managing LiveOps for Free-to-Play (F2P) games.
  • Strong understanding of player retention, engagement, monetization, and virtual economies.
  • Hands-on experience with A/B testing, player segmentation, and data-driven decision making.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and analytics platforms such as Firebase, Google Analytics, Tableau, Looker Studio, or similar BI tools.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced live-service gaming environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing LiveOps for mobile games with large active player bases.
  • Experience with SQL and data querying tools.
  • Background in Product Management, Game Design, Economy Design, or Monetization.
  • Experience launching battle passes, seasonal events, and limited-time content.
  • Knowledge of Southeast Asian gaming markets.
