TECHNICAL PRODUCT MANAGER

Filtec Group is a company specializing in industrial filtration solutions, engineering products, spare parts supply, and technical services for various industries, including manufacturing, power generation, oil & gas, heavy equipment, mining, and industrial processing.

As part of our business expansion and technical product development initiatives, we are looking for a technically strong and detail-oriented professional to join our team as PRODUCT ENGINEER.

This role is primarily focused on product engineering, technical analysis, application engineering, and technical support. The ideal candidate should have a strong engineering background, the ability to understand product specifications and customer requirements, and the capability to develop appropriate technical solutions for industrial applications.

Product Scope

The position will be responsible for supporting and developing industrial products, including:

Dust Collector & Industrial Dust Collection Systems
Screw Compressor & Compressor Systems
HVAC Systems & Components
Heavy Equipment & Off-Road Vehicle Filters
Compressor Filters & Air Filtration Systems
Lubricant / Lube Oil Filters
Oil Separators & Air/Oil Separators
After Filters / Pressurized Dry Filters
Other Industrial Filtration & Engineering Products

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong technical knowledge of assigned industrial products, including specifications, applications, components, and operating principles.
Analyze customer requirements, technical specifications, drawings, and operating conditions to determine suitable product applications.
Provide technical recommendations and engineering solutions based on customer and site requirements.
Support the development, modification, and customization of products according to specific application requirements.
Prepare technical specifications, product datasheets, technical proposals, comparison sheets, and other engineering documentation.
Review and evaluate technical drawings, product dimensions, materials, performance requirements, and engineering specifications.
Conduct product research and technical benchmarking to identify suitable products, components, and alternative solutions.
Coordinate with suppliers, principals, Sales, Technical, and other internal teams regarding product specifications and technical requirements.
Provide technical support to the Sales and Business Development teams during customer discussions, quotation processes, and project development.
Assist in handling technical inquiries, troubleshooting, product issues, and customer complaints related to assigned products.
Conduct customer visits, site surveys, measurements, technical discussions, and inspections when required.
Assist in preparing technical calculations and engineering assessments related to product applications.
Evaluate product performance and gather technical feedback from customers and field applications.
Maintain accurate technical product databases, specifications, drawings, and documentation.
Monitor developments in industrial technology, product innovation, standards, and market requirements.
Support product improvement and development initiatives based on customer requirements, field findings, and market needs.
Ensure technical solutions comply with applicable engineering standards, customer specifications, and company requirements.

Key Requirements

Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant Engineering fields.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Product Engineering, Application Engineering, Product Development, Technical Engineering, Technical Support, Engineering Sales, or similar roles.
Strong technical understanding of industrial equipment, filtration systems, compressors, HVAC systems, dust collection systems, or heavy equipment components.
Experience in industrial products, engineering solutions, manufacturing, or B2B technical environments is highly preferred.
Strong ability to read and understand technical drawings, specifications, datasheets, and engineering documentation.
Able to analyze customer requirements and translate them into appropriate technical solutions.
Familiarity with engineering calculations, product selection, sizing, or technical evaluation is highly preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and technical documentation.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other engineering/design software is an advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
Detail-oriented and able to work with technical data and specifications accurately.
Good communication and coordination skills with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Willing to travel for customer visits, site surveys, technical inspections, and project requirements.

The ideal candidate should be able to analyze technical requirements, identify the right product or engineering solution, communicate technical information clearly, and work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver practical solutions.

Experience with industrial filtration, compressors, HVAC systems, dust collection systems, heavy equipment, or other industrial engineering products will be a strong advantage.
