Product Designer - Merchant Lending

About the Role

At GOTO group we follow a simple premise, Go Far, Go Together, Product Designers make this possible by translating the needs and wants of our users into seamless designs. By understanding both business and user inputs, you will be the primary advocate for all our user experiences and user interfaces by creating intuitive, efficient, and user-centric designs.

What You Will Do

• Independently drive to create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements and user feedback
• Creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and user designs for mobile and web applications
• Own end-to-end experience will all aspects of design (UX copywriting, UIUX designs, UIUX validation, creation and maintenance of design language)
• Identify and resolve UX issues and inefficiencies through design-related improvements
• Initiate needed research to identify market trends, identify opportunities, and validate designs
• Work with Product Managers, Engineers, UX researchers, and management teams to understand needs and ensure designs are executed as expected
• Communicate design proposals in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders
• Manage complex, multi-phase projects simultaneously. Understand and incorporate complex technical and business requirements into the design

What You Will Need

• Should have a bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of UI/UX design experience for digital products or services
• Strong applied skills in design tools related to creating mobile and web application interfaces, e.g. Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
• Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, act as a strategic partner in product strategy, and be an advocate for our users
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Should have creative problem-solving skills, be detail-oriented, and have a willingness to grow.

Merchant Lending is part of GoTo Financial's financial services unit. Our team works to provide responsible and sustainable financial services to our merchant partners. We operate with the fundamental belief that financial inclusion can unlock the doors to a better quality of life, both in the present as well as in the long term.

Our team's mission is to empower our users to realize their dreams through responsible lending. GoModal, our flagship product, currently helps many merchant partners to increase the , scale, and quality of their operations. We're planning on growing aggressively in 2023 and beyond by tapping into and expanding our services into new platforms and partners.

The team is based in Indonesia, thus allowing us to enjoy collaborative iterative development with fast feedback cycles. We work in a highly supportive environment where we never hesitate to help each other out, unblock any and all barriers, and have fun along the way.
