Role Description:
- Lead the end-to-end health product development lifecycle, from market research, ideation, feasibility, to launch and enhancements.
- Translate product strategy into actionable development plans, ensuring alignment with business goals and growth targets.
- Conduct ongoing market analysis, customer research, and competitor benchmarking to support product innovation and improvements.
- Lead and manage product documentation, regulatory submissions, and approval processes, Ensure product compliance with regulatory, governance, and risk management requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
- Lead cross-functional stakeholder engagement, such as Product Implementation, Product Activation, Actuarial, Distribution, Operations, Finance and IT, to deliver high-quality product solutions aligned with business objectives and timelines.
- Monitor post-launch performance (sales, claims, profitability) and drive continuous product enhancements and optimization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the insurance industry, with strong exposure to life and/or health product development.
- Proven experience in end-to-end product development, including proposition design, product launch, and lifecycle management.
- Strong insurance product expertise, with the ability to translate customer needs, market insights, and business strategy into commercially successful solutions.
- Solid understanding of insurance regulations, product filing, compliance, and governance requirements, particularly within life and health insurance.
- Strong leadership capability, including experience leading teams and developing internal talent.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions and manage cross-functional product initiatives.
- Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills, with the ability to drive execution and deliver results in a fast-paced environment while balancing commercial objectives and customer value creation.
