Role purpose
Own the product and proposition strategy for Nexus: decide what to build, for whom, why customers will choose it, and what customer-facing offer gives it the best chance to scale. The role converts customer insight, partner capabilities and market opportunities into validated AI products, clear product roadmaps and compelling propositions.
What success looks like
· A focused Nexus product portfolio and 12–18 month roadmap, with a clear launch sequence.
· One or more validated customer propositions with evidence of product-market fit, customer value and willingness to pay.
· A continuous customer-feedback and experimentation loop that informs product decisions and delivery priorities.
· A customer-value-led pricing and packaging recommendation for every launch, validated with Commercial/FinOps.
Key accountabilities
Product portfolio and strategy
· Define the product vision, portfolio and roadmap for Nexus AI experiences, including AI Hub, embedded partner experiences and future exchange services.
· Prioritise which propositions to launch, improve, pause or stop based on customer value, strategic fit, partner readiness and performance evidence.
· Translate Nexus strategy into product briefs, customer journeys, requirements, acceptance criteria and delivery priorities for platform, engineering and data teams.
Customer and market insight
· Lead product-market-fit work with the consumer-insights resource: interviews, focus groups, usability tests, diary studies, surveys and willingness-to-pay research.
· Develop practical customer segments and jobs-to-be-done; identify the pain points where Nexus can deliver a differentiated outcome.
· Benchmark global, regional and local AI offerings, including capabilities, user experience, pricing, language quality and positioning.
Product proposition and pricing strategy
· Define the target customer, problem statement, value proposition, features, user journey and success measures for each product.
· Recommend customer-facing pricing and packaging: free trial, data-plus-AI bundle, Nexus Credits, subscription, top-up or hybrid proposition.
· Work with Commercial/FinOps to validate economics, usage limits and price points while retaining a simple and compelling customer proposition.
Partner and delivery alignment
· Assess Alibaba, LLM and application-partner capabilities against customer need, quality, safety, localisation, commercial potential and delivery readiness.
· Lead product discovery and delivery cadence with technical teams; maintain the prioritised backlog and resolve product trade-offs.
· Ensure product decisions protect Nexus customer ownership, consent, trust and future partner/model portability.
Performance and optimisation
· Own product adoption, activation, repeat use, conversion, feature engagement and customer satisfaction metrics.
· Establish the feedback loop from customer behaviour, support contacts, app reviews and research into product improvements.
· Run product experiments and recommend changes to features, onboarding, target segment or pricing proposition.
Performance measures
· Product adoption, WAU/MAU and first-successful-outcome rate
· Repeat use, retention and paid conversion
· Product NPS / satisfaction and key usability measures
· Feature adoption and delivery of prioritised roadmap outcomes
· Time from customer insight to validated product decision
· Revenue/subscriber contribution jointly with GTM and Commercial/FinOps
Required experience and qualifications
· 8+ years in digital product management, product strategy, growth product or consumer digital services.
· Demonstrated ownership of a consumer digital product from discovery through launch and optimisation; telco, platform, fintech, e-commerce, media or AI experience preferred.
· Strong experience with segmentation, customer research, product analytics and experimentation.
· Commercial understanding of digital subscriptions, credits, bundles, partner platforms or marketplace propositions.
· Experience working with engineering, UX, data, legal/risk and external partners in an agile environment.
· Bachelor's degree required; MBA, product, design, analytics or business qualification is advantageous.
Core competencies
· Customer obsession and structured product judgment
· Commercial curiosity and ability to simplify complex propositions
· Strong product discovery, storytelling and stakeholder influence
· Data literacy and comfort with experimentation
· Ownership, pace and ability to work in an ambiguous venture environment
· Excellent English communication; Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage
Role boundary and key collaboration
This role owns the customer-value view: what to build, for whom, why it matters and what customers are likely to understand and pay. Commercial/FinOps owns the formal P&L, cost controls, partner settlement and economic approval.
