Procurement Specialist

Responsibilities

1. Manage procurement planning and execution for construction/project requirements.

2. Review and validate purchase requests, specifications, quantities, budgets, and cost estimates.

3. Conduct price and market analysis to ensure competitive and cost-effective procurement.

4. Manage the tender process, including vendor/subcontractor sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and selection.

5. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors.

6. Monitor vendor/subcontractor performance, delivery, quality, and compliance with agreed terms.

7. Review and monitor contracts, variations, claims, and commercial matters.

8. Work closely with Project, QS, Engineering, and Finance teams to ensure procurement aligns with project requirements and budgets.

9. Identify cost-saving opportunities and support continuous improvement of procurement processes.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related fields.

2. Have 3–5 years of experience in Project Procurement, Quantity Surveying, or related roles.

3. Strong knowledge of quantity measurement, cost estimation, cost planning, and cost control.

4. Good understanding of construction methods, building materials, market pricing, and industry standards.

5. Familiar with construction contracts, including FIDIC, lump sum, and unit price contracts, as well as variation orders and claims.

6. Experience in tender processes, vendor/subcontractor negotiation, and procurement activities.

7. Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.

8. Able to work independently and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced project environment.

9. Working location is in BSD Tangerang.
