Procurement Specialist (Indonesia Region)

Essential Functions:

• Plan, create, and process timely requisitions and purchase orders for raw materials, sub-assemblies, finished goods, and services.
• Research and identify prospective suppliers for assigned categories.
• Reduce dependency on single-source suppliers through contracts and strategic partnerships.
• Ensure commercial, legal, and contractual compliance in all procurement transactions.
• Execute RFPs and RFIs to support continued business operations.
• Collaborate with the Quality Team to inspect deliveries and ensure goods meet specifications.
• Develop strong relationships with key suppliers and measure performance based on cost, quality, delivery, and service level.
• Communicate daily with suppliers and organize meetings to resolve supply issues.
• Initiate corrective actions for defective materials or services and follow through with suppliers.
• Work with internal departments such as finance, sales, and operations to resolve issues.
• Demonstrate teamwork and nurture good working relationships across departments.
• Use SAP proficiently for purchasing materials and goods.
• Execute and analyze reports from SAP.
• Maintain the SRM system for procurement requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, economics, engineering, business administration, or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, project management, or data analysis.
• Proficient knowledge of SAP best practices in procurement.
• Strong analytical skills for supply chain management.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a full-time work schedule with regular attendance.
• Ability to interact professionally with individuals of varied backgrounds.
