About the Role
The Procurement Officer ensures that SCG Indonesia secures the right products and services at the best value, while maintaining strong supplier relationships and upholding compliance standards. This role supports our businesses in cement, packaging, and trading, working with both local and regional vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle purchasing requests, RFQs, and vendor negotiations to secure competitive pricing.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, monitoring performance and service quality.
- Coordinate with internal teams to understand material/service requirements and delivery schedules.
- Manage contracts, purchase orders, and related documentation in compliance with company policies.
- Track and analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure alignment with SCGs standards on sustainability, compliance, and corporate governance.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
- 13 years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP experience is an advantage.
- Clear communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
