Our client, a leading developer and operator of AI and hyperscale data centres, is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead data centre procurement operations. This is a full-time role focused on managing CAPEX procurement for complex MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) equipment sourcing and supplier relationships within a fast-paced data centre environment. The successful candidate will bring deep procurement expertise, strong commercial negotiation skills, and fluency in Mandarin to support stakeholder engagement across the organisation.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on procurement experience specifically in the data centre industry, with demonstrated expertise in MEP equipment and CAPEX purchases.
- Strong commercial acumen and proven negotiation skills with the ability to secure favourable terms and manage supplier relationships.
- Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) to support cross-functional communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Meticulous attention to detail with strong compliance and documentation practices in a regulated procurement environment.
- Solid decision-making and interpersonal skills, with experience working across multiple departments and technical teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5 to 8 years total procurement experience within data centres, telecommunications, EPC, or other related infrastructure industries.
- Professional procurement certification or equivalent demonstrated expertise in complex equipment sourcing and supplier management.
